Planted Seven million trees
Costa Rica will carry out the planting program 7 million trees during 2008. According to the Minister For The Environment and Energy of Roberto Dobles, this program aimed at absorbing gas of greenhouse emissions and to make Costa Rica the country penetral first carbon in the world. This was the follow-up to the program that was carried out by his country during 2007 that is planting 5 million trees to prevent environmental damage.
This program will be preceeded with the stopping of the felling of the forest and the procurement of the project 'planted one tree'.
The government learned from the experience has time to learn from the mistakes of other countries. It can be argued that some controlled logging could be permitted. One plan in the country Costa Rica called for selective logging of tagged trees only, with fallow periods of 40 years thereafter. Of course, any such plan is only as good as its oversight. Therein is one problem. Politics is another. If logging is to be permitted, under controlled circumstances, is there an open bid process for logging concessions so that realistic revenues are obtained ?
The government also took the initiative of planting the tree totalling possibly. According to him, all the countries could begin like what Costa Rica did to prevent environmental damage that increasingly worryng. Uptil now countries like Brazil, China, and India really cared and were responsible towards the damaging greenhouse effect the layer of ozone. Costa Rica will not remain quiet and will do the same thing.
Come on we began planted, No Forest No Future.
